PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (sometimes abbreviated as PSASBR) is a fighting game starring many characters from Sony developed games. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be available on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, and feature cross-platform play. If you buy the PlayStation 3 version of the game you will get a digital copy of the PlayStation Vita version for free using CrossBuy.
The gameplay and crossover idea is similar to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. series and their compatibility between the Wii U version and the 3DS version. Those who are playing the PlayStation 3 version of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be able to compete against those with the PlayStation Vita and vice versa. The gameplay is similar to that in the Super Smash Bros. series in that it features characters exclusive to its publishing company's games as well as the same combat style and levels.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was rumored to have existed for several months under the moniker Title Fight. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is currently under development at SuperBot Entertainment (with the help of Sony's super-powered group at Santa Monica Studio).
